# DoomRoll

> DoomRoll is a fair decision-maker app for Apple Watch (watchOS 10+): coin flip, dice from d4 to d120, a spinner wheel of names and six more ways to decide. Every result is drawn from the system's cryptographic random generator. Free on the App Store, with optional one-time packs; no subscriptions, no ads, no tracking. An iPhone and iPad version is coming in DoomRoll 2.0.

## The nine games

### Toss — for a verdict
- Coin (free): realistic flip with three animation styles; about one flip in a hundred lands on its edge for a tie.
- Doom Orb (free): twenty cryptic answers, summoned with a flick of the wrist.
- Yes / No (free): suspense animations before YES, NO or a rare MAYBE.
- Jiaobei (free): a pair of Taiwanese moon blocks landing YES, NO or ASK AGAIN, with honest odds.
- I Ching (free): the three-coin method; six throws build a hexagram, shown with its King Wen number 1–64.

### Spin — for a winner
- Spinner Wheel (free, unlimited spins): a wheel of saved names; with the Extended Pack, Elimination ranks everyone in order.
- Spinner Strip (Extended Pack): a sliding ticker of names that stops with the winner under the pointer.
- Pointer (free): spin-the-bottle style golden arrow.

### Roll — for the table
- Dice: real 3D polyhedral dice d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d24, d30, d60, d100, d120. Handfuls of up to six dice, modifiers from −5 to +10, d20 advantage and disadvantage, NAT 20 / NAT 1 celebrations, optional Smooth Dice anti-streak mode. D6 is free; the other ten dice are in the Boardgames Pack.

## Input and system features
- Digital Crown wind-up, wrist shake and double-tap (watchOS 11+) in every game.
- Siri without opening the app: "Flip a coin with DoomRoll", "Roll a die with DoomRoll", "Ask DoomRoll yes or no", plus moon blocks and I Ching.
- Watch face complication; on watchOS 11+ it rolls a die straight from the face.
- Session log for board-game nights (Boardgames Pack) and history archive (Extended Pack).

## Free tier and packs
- Free: Coin, Doom Orb, Yes / No, Jiaobei, I Ching, Pointer, Spinner Wheel with unlimited spins, D6 with handfuls and modifiers, three saved groups of four names.
- Boardgames Pack: the other ten dice, session log, unlimited groups, Quick Mode.
- Extended Pack: every Doom Orb and Yes / No animation, Spinner Strip, Elimination, history, Smooth Dice, unlimited groups, Quick Mode.
- Full Pack: both packs together, cheaper than buying them separately.

## Fairness and privacy
- Randomness: SecRandomCopyBytes (kernel CSPRNG, hardware-seeded). Animations never decide the result; distributions are verified by chi-squared tests.
- Privacy: no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Names, results and history stay on the watch; only an anonymous purchase record is sent (RevenueCat).
